1. Booking
Your booking request must be made on the official Booking Form and completed
in full.
2. Deposit
If a booking is made 8 weeks or more before the rental period is due to start
it must be accompanied by a deposit of £100 per week. If a booking is
made less than 8 weeks before the rental period, the full rent, deposit and
security deposit must be paid at the time of booking. In the event of a booking
not being accepted all fees paid will be refunded immediately.
3. Security Deposit
A security deposit of £250 is required at the time of full payment. This
security deposit is additional to the weekly tariff and will be refunded within
14 days of the end of the rental period provided that:-
* The apartment and its contents are left clean and tidy and it does
not incur any excessive cleaning charges.
* No one has been smoking in the apartment.
* Keys are all returned in good working condition.
* No damage, breakages or losses to furniture, fittings or equipment
has occurred.
4. Final Payment
Once the booking form is received and confirmed by us (the owners), the applicants
are liable for payment of the balance of the rent, and security deposit, 8 weeks
prior to the rental period. Non – payment by the due date will be treated
as a cancellation and a cancellation charge will be payable as listed below.
5. Price Changes
The owners reserves the right to amend prices quoted on the web site due to
errors or omissions.
6. Method of Payment
Payment must be made by cheque. All cheques should be made payable to “J
Haycock” . Post dated cheques are not acceptable. All charges raised against
the owners by their bank for handling dishonoured cheques will be passed on
to the applicants, who are liable to reimburse the charges within 7 days of
notification.
If bookings are made less than 2 weeks prior to the rental period, payment
must be made in full by Bank/Building Society Cheque.
7. Eligibility
Only those named on the booking form (a maximum of 4 people) are permitted to
use the apartment. No bookings from groups of single persons under the age of
30 will be accepted. No bookings of all male or all female parties will be accepted.
8. Cancellation
All cancellations must be made in writing.
In the event of cancellation of a confirmed booking the following charges will
apply:-
* More than 8 weeks prior to rental period £100 (per week) Deposit.
* Between 5 - 8 weeks prior to rental period 50% of rental cost.
* Less than 5 weeks prior to rental period 100% of the rental cost.
9. Insurance
We strongly recommend that the all guest take out there own holiday insurance.
(To cover such things as cancellations, accidents loss etc.) We do not provide
such cover.
10. Animals/Pets
Under NO circumstances are animals of any kind permitted in the apartment.
11. Smoking
Smoking is NOT permitted in the apartment. If there is evidence of smoking in
the apartment then you could loose your deposit.
12. Tenants Obligations
The tenants agree:-
* They must not cause a nuisance to neighbours in the apartment building
especially through noise.
* To permit the owner or house keeper reasonable access to the apartment.
* That the apartment is let on the basis of holiday accommodation only
and the tenant or any other person accompanying him/her have no rights to remain
in the property other than for the agreed period.
13. Duration and Times of Letting
Bookings are for a minimum of one week running from Sunday to Sunday, the maximum
booking period is four weeks.
The apartment will be available after 3pm on the Sunday of arrival.
The apartment must be vacated by 10am on the Sunday of departure.
14. Non – availability of Property
If for any reason beyond the owners control the property is not available on
the date booked (owing to fire/flood damage for example) all rent paid by the
applicant will be refunded in full immediately, but the applicant shall have
no further claim against the owners of the apartment.
15. Liability
The apartment owners accept NO liability for any loss or injury sustained by
any member of your party or visitor to the apartment, patio/decking area. The
owners will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from
matters outside their control, including acts of god, weather conditions, strikes,
riots, civil disturbances, act of government, fire or flood. (Personal Holiday
insurance is strongly recommended)
16. Linen
All bed linen is provided including sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers, duvets
and pillows. A change of linen will be provided weekly for bookings of two or
more weeks.
Towels are NOT provided – Tenants must provide their own.
